    Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juices), tomato paste, and pepper paste. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

    Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. If you prefer a smoother sauce, you can use an immersion blender to blend it until smooth at this point.

    Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
