    Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan or a muffin tin for individual cakes.

    Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.

    Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a separate large bowl, beat the butter and sugar the add eggs, honey adn vanilla extract.

    Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Add the flour mixture in three batches, alternating with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

    Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan or muffin tin, and bake for about 35-40 minutes for a full-sized cake or 18-20 minutes for cupcakes. Test with a toothpick; it should come out clean.

    Prepare the Glaze: While the cakes are baking, heat the honey, butter, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the mixture is melted and well-combined. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
